Till now, 4 Indian movies have got a place in the Oscar award, which has been running for 94 years – Mother India, Salaam Bombay, Shwaas (Marathi) and Lagaan are the movies which was nominated for this award. And also SS Rajamouli’s film ‘RRR’ is a blockbuster not only in India but also globally. People expected it to earn its place in the Oscar race. But it was decided to send the Gujarati film ‘Chhelo Show’ (The Last Film Show) from India as the official entry. And now ‘RRR’ has joined the Oscar race as the makers have decided to go for it on their own.
